	Engineered woods are created using layers of wood that are stacked cross grain and secured together using heat and pressure. Because of the layering, engineered wood is less likely to be affected by moisture and humidity, so they are suitable for almost any room.
	Everyday Elegance products are 10 ply, 9/16” thick with a 3 mil top layer, a substantial and durable construction that feels solid underfoot.

	Santos Mahogany (Balsamo) Janka Rating: 2200 Janka Origin: SOUTH AMERICA 3 1/2" and 4 3/4" Wide YHSSE0020 / YHSSEW0020 The heartwood is reddish brown becoming deep red upon exposure. Luster is medium to high, with a medium texture. The grain is typically interlocked.
	Brazilian Tiger Mahogany (Curupay) Janka Rating: 3840 Origin: SOUTH AMERICA 4 3/4" Wide YHSSEW0028 Heartwood is pale brown, darkening upon exposure to reddish brown with darker colored, almost black streaks. The texture is fine and uniform and the grain usually irregular and interlocked.
	Burma Mahogany (Pradoo) Janka Rating: 2170 Origin: BURMA/THAILAND 3 1/2" and 4 1/2" Wide YHSSE0030 / YHSSEW0030 Heartwood is a bright yellowish red to dark brick red, streaked with darker lines. Wood becomes a dull but attractive golden brown with age. Texture is moderately coarse with interlocked grain.

Close subdued grain with medium figuring and uniform texture. Occasionally shows quilted, fiddle back, curly or bird's eye figuring. Cabernet Finish is dark brown with red undertones.
	Maple - Wheat (Acer Spp. ) Janka Rating: 1260 Origin: ASIA 4 3/4"" Wide YHSEW0008 Heartwood is creamy white to light reddish brown. Sapwood is pale to creamy white. Close subdued grain with medium figuring and uniform texture. Occasionally shows quilted, fiddle back, curly or bird's eye figuring. Wheat Finish is a natural tone with a creamy hue.
